Lewis, USA, Advocate
Lewis is an award-winning
writer, broadcaster and sport commentator who has covered the Olympic
Games since 1984 and produced and wrote the official IOC film of the 1984
Sarajevo Games. Lewis has covered sports as disparate as Wimbledon Tennis
to the World Lumberjack Championships. In 1992, Lewis co-founded and served
as the executive director for Spirit of HOPE. Through this group, Lewis
traveled to Sarajevo during the war to start a youth sport program that
continues to this day. Apart from sport coverage, Lewis contributed to
NBC Today and has written/produced a number of documentaries, primarily
about subjects of environmental significance.
